Painting of Thailand’s Maya Bay (2020).

This is the third piece I painted for a landscape series I started featuring the places I travelled to while backpacking. This piece was a commission. The large lush cliff islands are what make Thailand’s southern islands so magical. When I revisit these paintings, I am transported to another place and time. What lingers are feelings of nostalgia and that quenchless anticipation for my next adventure, which these days are closer to home.
