Tree Planting: Season 3 (2018).

My third season tree planting I connected with lots of new faces. This season was particularly rough mentally because I was already a seasoned veteran planter having completed two summers already. I had also dealt with a pretty gnarly staph infection. I begrudgingly waited too long to get it treated, having been conditioned to “shut up and plant”, a mentality I can thank my Ontario tree planting roots for. Grateful for the pals who accepted my crusty disposition at the time, with sprinkles of smiles and lots of laughter despite it all.
